Located a bit away from central Chiba City, this park lets you enjoy natural scenery and connect with plants year-round.

Spanning 44 hectares, the park is a popular cherry-blossom spot selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Sites. The “Hanami Plaza” features Approx. 200 trees including Somei Yoshino and weeping cherry, and the lawn area known as “Grassland” has Approx. 200 cherry trees planted as well, making the park lively in spring with visitors enjoying hanami and picnics.

It’s also known as a famous spot for autumn foliage. You can also enjoy seasonal flowers such as Approx. 60 plum trees and Approx. 50 wintersweet trees blooming in the plum grove, and Approx. 6,000 Japanese irises grown in the iris field, as well as wild birds that gather in the forest and around the ponds, making it a great place to experience nature in every season.

With its varied terrain, the park is also popular as a comfortable walking course where you can get moving while enjoying the scenery. It also offers plenty of outdoor facilities, including the athletic course “Forest Adventure Chiba,” where you clear various checkpoints set up in the trees.
