Shimizu Park is famous as one of Japan’s top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots. It’s also well-known as one of the Kanto region’s top azalea spots. Furthermore, every season visitors can enjoy around 500 flowers, including plum blossoms, peonies, and wisteria, and during fall many people visit to see the autumn leaves. The park is equipped with various entertainment facilities, including a “field athletics” obstacle course, a camping ground, barbecue grounds, a pony ranch, and a 70,000㎡ comprehensive flower garden called “Flower Fantasia,” so children and adults alike are sure to find plenty to enjoy!
