Harumi Pier Park
A waterfront park where you can enjoy bay area views and the lingering spirit of the Olympics.
A park at Harumi Pier in Tokyo Port. During the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, it was used as part of the Athletes’ Village area, and was later redeveloped and opened to the public. The park features legacy elements such as commemorative plaques, letting visitors relive the spirit of the Games.
One of its biggest draws is the view from the observation plaza and seaside terrace, which offers sweeping views of the bay area, including Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge. If the timing is right, you may also see sailing ships at the berths of the adjacent nautical training center. The night view is also beautiful, making it a popular date spot. There is also a play area with large playground equipment and walking courses for jogging or strolls, so visitors can enjoy the park in many different ways. Another highlight is spending a relaxing time at “O.GARDEN,” a multi-use complex with an open cafe with a terrace, a garden grill where you can enjoy BBQ without bringing your own equipment, and a salon for a variety of uses.
The giant “TOKYO” monument was installed in 2024. Lit up at night, it has become a popular photo spot where you can take pictures with Rainbow Bridge in the background.
