Sofmap AKIBA Amusement Store

This large entertainment specialty store is located just a short walk from Akihabara’s Electric Town exit. Its biggest draw is the extensive selection, with products for dedicated fans ranging from new and used video game consoles and PC games to anime CDs, Blu-rays, figures, and plastic models.

The store spans eight floors, with each one dedicated to a different specialty genre. The 1st floor features hobby goods and figures, the 2nd floor plastic models, the 3rd floor video games, and the 5th floor video software and anime CDs. PC games also have dedicated floors, with new titles on the 4th floor and used titles on the 5th. The anime goods floor on the 6th floor is also known for its especially deep selection.

On the 7th floor, STELLAMAP Cafe hosts collaboration events with a variety of manga, anime, and game titles. You can find limited-edition collaboration menu items and merchandise available only here. The event floor on the 8th floor also regularly hosts a wide range of events, including talk shows, voice actor autograph sessions, and game release events.
