Mango House Kokusai Street No.1 Store

Mango House, a specialty store for Kariyushi wear (Okinawan aloha shirts), incorporates distinctly Okinawan motifs into its designs, making them perfect not only as stylish summer fashion but also as memorable souvenirs. With six stores across Okinawa-including locations near Naha Airport and in Onna Village-the brand’s first shop is located along Naha’s main street, Kokusai-dori, where three Mango House stores stand side by side.

Inside, you’ll find over 500 styles and 6,000 garments, including aloha shirts and dresses-all original, in-house designs. Patterns range from classics like hibiscus and shisa (guardian lions) to unique Okinawan icons such as the Yambaru kuina (a rare bird) and goya (bitter melon). Each piece is one of a kind, as the placement of the fabric print differs with every cut.

Adding to the charm, the designers themselves work as sales staff, offering expert advice not only on the background of each design but also on styling and coordination, making the shopping experience both personal and inspiring.
