  Kokusai-dori at night is truly colorful and bustling. This time, I took the monorail there and slowly strolled along the street. I specifically came to find the famous snow salt cookie shop because I was amazed when I tried the cookies during my trip and knew I had to visit.

  In addition to a wide selection of souvenirs, the shop also serves its signature snow salt ice cream. You can find all kinds of Okinawa's famous specialty salts here.   Kokusai-dori is really lively at night, with people everywhere. Don Quijote in particular was packed, and it would take quite a while to browse the whole store. After walking all evening, my feet were really sore and aching, but even though I was already tired, I still couldn't bring myself to go back to the hotel. I kept thinking I should walk around a little longer. After all, it's not often that I get to visit Okinawa, so of course I wanted to fully experience the lively atmosphere at night too.

  The whole street is very lively, with lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, and snack stalls on both sides. You can find almost anything you want to buy. Besides Kokusai-dori itself, you can also explore the side streets, where you'll find quite a few unique little shops. The atmosphere is even livelier at night.
