Kokusaidori Yataimura

Yataimura (food stall village) was established in 2015 on Kokusai Dori, and you won't want to miss it during your visit to Okinawa. It is a popular spot where restaurants serving Okinawan cuisine and creative dishes made with local ingredients gather and bustle both day and night.

More than 20 food stalls are open. Most of the stalls offer not only Okinawan cuisine but also sushi using fish such as Gurukun（Double-lined fusilier） and Irabucha（Steephead parrotfish）, Agu pork dumplings, Ishigaki beef steaks, and other dishes made with locally produced ingredients. Food stalls serving original and creative dishes are also plentiful, as is typical of Okinawa's open-mindedness in accepting diverse cultures. Many of the Food stalls are open from 11:00 a.m., allowing visitors to enjoy a highly flexible time, such as having a lunchtime drink or visiting different food stalls.

In the center of the food stall village, there is a plaza and stage where local performing arts of Okinawa's main island and remote islands, such as island songs and dances, as well as live performances and shows, are held. The village conveys the beauty of Okinawa through various events and creates interaction among people.
