At this ryokan in Yamashiro Onsen, you can enjoy the historic hot spring waters of Yamashiro, with a 1,300-year history, along with two private hot spring sources opened in 2012, all across three large public baths.

Starting with the indoor bath decorated with Kutani ware plates on the walls that strongly showcase Kaga style, there are 18 varied tubs in total, including a rock bath, Goemon bath, and herbal bath. Since the men's and women's baths are switched depending on the time of day, it is possible to try all of the tubs during a one-night stay.

The guest room selection is also one of the largest in Yamashiro Onsen. You can choose from a wide variety of room types, including luxurious suites limited to the upper floors and rooms with open-air baths, depending on the number of guests and your travel style. The creative kaiseki meals, made with seasonal ingredients unique to Kaga, an area known for its rich food culture, are also popular.

There are also plenty of complimentary services, including making your own onsen eggs and enjoying onsen manju buns and potatoes steamed with the property's own hot spring water at check-in or after a bath. In summer, when the outdoor pool with a large waterslide opens, the ryokan is lively with families enjoying a resort-like atmosphere.
