Yamashiro Onsen Rurikoh

A hot spring ryokan named after the source spring of Yamashiro in Kaga Onsenkyo. Guests can enjoy these famous waters in a variety of bathing facilities, including open-air baths with seasonal scenery, large public baths, private open-air baths, and a footbath. Guests can also use the hot spring facilities at its sister property, “Hatori,” a 5-minute walk from the inn, free of charge, making it an ideal place for a hot spring-hopping stay.

Guest rooms range from luxurious rooms with open-air baths to Japanese-Western rooms and traditional Japanese-style rooms. Guests staying in Hoshi no To rooms with open-air baths can use the club lounge, which offers services including complimentary drinks. The inn’s signature performance, the “Kaga Ikko Ikki Taiko,” is performed free of charge every night and is not to be missed.

Meals feature creative Japanese kaiseki cuisine showcasing seasonal flavors from Kaga’s sea and countryside. The dishes, generously prepared with carefully selected local ingredients from Kaga, are especially popular. Breakfast is served buffet-style with Approx. 70 Japanese and Western dishes, including customizable asadon breakfast bowls and comforting obanzai home-style dishes.
