The straw flames are intensely hot, instantly and evenly searing the surface of the ingredients to lock in their flavor. There are also several other straw-grilled dishes, including Miyazaki Beef sirloin steak grilled over straw. The Miyazaki Station Branch also offers eight lunch dishes available only at this location, such as the straw-grilled bonito rice bowl with sauce, Chicken Nanban jubako-style meal, and chilled hiyajiru set meal. You can enjoy a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties, at reasonable prices.
