A gourmet spot on Awaji Island’s west coast, lined with colorful container-style shops where chefs from across Japan serve a wide variety of cuisines.

The chefs’ signature dishes mainly use local ingredients, including seafood bowls made with fresh fish delivered directly from seafood wholesalers, Awaji beef sukiyaki rice boxes, and hamburgers. Another highlight is the wide range of options, from curry, ramen, and Thai cuisine to pizza and sweets. On sunny days, you can enjoy dishes purchased from multiple shops at the 600-seat terrace. The colorful containers, seaside terrace seating, and large heart monument are also perfect for photos. Weekends are especially lively, with marchés, music events, and other activities.

Open until 8:00 pm, it’s a relaxing place to take in the stunning view of the sunset over the Harima Sea, selected as one of Japan’s 100 Best Sunsets. Pair it with the adjacent seaside mall “Ladybird Road,” designed to evoke a European streetscape, and you’ll find an even wider range of gourmet options.
