  • I absolutely love Japanese-made thermos bottles, and with all these different designs, I just had to grab two to take home!

  • The best time to visit Kiyomizu-dera is in the fall. The maple trees turn the whole temple area a beautiful red, making it a fantastic spot for autumn leaf viewing!

  • I heard Okunitama-jinja Shrine is famous for warding off evil and bringing good fortune, especially for love and relationships. I made sure to stop by and pray while I was here!

  • It can't really compare to 7-Eleven in Taiwan, but you can try some unique rice ball flavors here that you won't find back home. Not bad at all!

  • Reasonable prices and lots of different flavors—definitely the best choice if you're craving ramen!

  • Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine really has that authentic Japanese local feel. The fishing rod fortune-telling is especially fun! All of us girls couldn't resist praying for safety and love!

  • At the Kawagoe City Museum, you can really get a clear understanding of Kawagoe's history during the Edo period. The explanations are very detailed. Visiting here before joining local cultural activities helps you appreciate the area even more.

  • This building is over a hundred years old. The retro decor mixed with a stylish vibe, plus a cup of coffee—just perfect!
