Kanagawa Prefectural Government's Office (King's Tower)

The Kanagawa Prefectural Government's Office, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, is affectionately known as the "King's Tower." Along with Yokohama Customs Building's "Queen's Tower" and Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall's "Jack's Tower," it forms the "Three Towers of Yokohama." The building stands about 49 meters tall and is one of the symbolic structures of Yokohama Port.

Kamo River / Nakaumi Sightseeing Boat

The sightseeing Boat starts near the Tenjinbashi Bridge in front of the earthen storehouses with white walls. It passes by Yonago’s nostalgic downtown, which used to prosper as a merchant town, and floats into Nakaumi to see Minatoyama Park and Yonago Castle Ruins. After going under the Fukaura Bridge, it runs into Shinkamogawa River, reaches the Sculpture Road, then turns around. The whole cruise takes about 50 minutes.

Gōshō Aoyama Manga Factory

This is a memorial museum for Gosho Aoyama, the original author of the popular comic "Detective Conan," which is published in 25 countries around the world. Born in Hokuei-cho, the museum displays various materials related to "Detective Conan" as well as the history of Aoyama from his childhood, university days, and career as a manga artist.

Tsutsujigaoka Park (Sendai)

Tsutsujigaoka Park was selected as one of the 100 best urban parks in Japan in 1989, and is known as one of Sendai's representative urban parks. The park covers an area of 11.2 hectares, about 2.4 times the size of the Tokyo Dome. It is said that the park had a close relationship with the lords of the Sendai domain, and Date Masamune, the first lord of the domain, selected this area as a candidate site for the construction of Sendai Castle.

Yukishio Museum

Adjacent to a salt factory on Miyakojima, the Yukishio Museum is a shop and museum dedicated to the island's specialty product "Yukishio (Snow Salt)." This salt is unique because its production method retains the nigari component, usually removed, resulting in a product containing 14 types of seawater-derived components. Its fine, snow-like particles are a standout feature, making it a popular souvenir, particularly for its beauty benefits.
