Kanno Farm
The popular spot nicknamed "Hanabito Kaido" (Flower People Highway) stretches from Asahikawa City through Biei Town and Furano City to Shikaoi Village along National Route 237, which is lined with numerous flower fields taking advantage of the vast landscape.
You can see all kinds of blooming flowers at the farm. The view of Furano and Biei's countryside from the hillside is just gorgeous!
Okutsu Valley
Okutsu Valley, spread across about 3km, is located upstream of the 'Yoshii River' flowing through Okayama Prefecture. The gorge features an ever-changing landscape, boasting a scenic pedestrian path beside it. As you walk, the sights of peculiar rocks, cliffs, waterfalls, and other quintessential features of a gorge come alive, attracting many nature enthusiasts.
There are walking trails here, so you can really enjoy a nice stroll. The fall foliage from early to mid-November is absolutely beautiful!
Dakigaeri Valley
Dakigaeri Valley stretches for 10 km along the middle course of the Tamagawa River, which flows between Lake Tazawa and Kakunodate. It is said to be named after an old and narrow treacherous mountain path, which was so narrow that when two people met, they had to embrace each other to pass.
The autumn leaves and the blue stream here are stunning. The scenery really helps you forget all your fatigue.
Ashino Park
This is a civic park known as the place where Osamu Dazai, a writer from Aomori Prefecture, used to play. In the vast park of about 800,000 m2 spreading around Lake Ashino, 1,500 cherry trees stand in a row, and the park is dyed in spring colors every spring.
Visited Ashino Park during Golden Week for the cherry blossom festival—the park looked so beautiful! 😋
Northern Horse Park
This is a hands-on theme park where visitors can enjoy nature and interaction with horses, based on the "Northern Farm" which is known for breeding many famous racehorses.
This facility helps promote Japan's horseback riding culture and even has a full racecourse.
Kitakami City Park Tenshochi
This park is located along Kitakami River which runs north to south at the center of Iwate. Famous for its cherry blossoms, the 29,300㎡ premises host nearly 10,000 cherry trees. The 2km-long cherry promenade from Sango Bridge is well-known and selected into “the Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots.” From mid April to early May, “Kitakami Tenshochi Cherry Festival” is held each year. During the festival, a carriage goes along the cherry promenade and a monster sword dance and other traditional arts are performed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
There are so many types of flowers here and the scenery is just delightful.
JR Kanazawa Station
Kanazawa Station, the gateway to Ishikawa, is served by the Hokuriku Shinkansen, which opened in 2015. It connects Tokyo and Kanazawa in about 2 hours and 30 minutes, and serves as the starting point for sightseeing in Kanazawa and the Hokuriku region.
The instruments used in Kanazawa's traditional Noh theater, Kaga Hosho, are the inspiration here, really showing off the area's deep cultural roots.
Ningle Terrace
Located just a 2-minute walk from the "Shin Furano Prince Hotel" in Furano City, Hokkaido, this shopping area is nestled among the trees. "Ningle" refers to the 15cm tall "forest wisdom keepers" who live in the forests of Hokkaido, as featured in playwright So Kuramoto's play "Ningle." The enchanting forest, reminiscent of a fairy tale, houses 15 log cabins selling crafts inspired by nature.
I especially recommend coming here during the snowy winter season—the photos turn out so magical! I originally thought it would only look beautiful at night with all the lights, but I was pleasantly surprised by how stunning it is with snow everywhere. It really makes for some amazing pictures.
The Japanese Cypress of Hoshoin
Hoshoin is the 54th temple in the Shodoshima 88 temples pilgrimage route. The 51st temple, Hojo-bo, and the 52nd temple, former Hachiman Shrine, are also located within the same grounds and have long been revered by people.
Legend has it that Emperor Ojin personally planted this tree when he visited Shodoshima. During the Edo period, it was considered one of the island's most iconic giant trees. 👍

The showroom introduces Panasonic's products and initiatives. It consists of an exhibit floor to learn about global warming solutions and the museum "AkeruE" which provides various mechanisms to nurture creativity.
