Riding the Akita Inland Railway is a soothing train journey filled with beautiful scenery! At the platform, you're greeted by an adorable Crayon Shin-chan Family City photo board that brings out your inner child before you even board. Inside the train, the ceiling is covered with cute photos of Akita dogs, with warm and thoughtful touches everywhere.

In addition to the classic giant waterfall of light and the flowers, birds, and animals moving through the darkness, the interactive area where you can draw sea creatures and project them onto the wall to swim freely is especially playful and full of surprises.

I especially recommend visiting EN TEA HOUSE! When a bowl of tea or ice cream is brought to the table, brilliant flowers slowly bloom inside it under the lights, extending the immersive experience to both sight and taste. Whether you're there to take photos or experience this stunning visual feast firsthand, it's definitely one of the most dreamlike highlights of any Tokyo itinerary!

From colorful omamori to talismans for protection from cancer, family safety, career success, and safe travels, they all make you want to buy and treasure them.

Karasumori Shrine's colorful goshuin and unique four-color wish-granting fortunes (Negai-iro Mikuji) also draw many worshippers. Amid the businesslike streets of Shinbashi, this sacred corner offers peace of mind and blessings for victory and good health. I highly recommend stopping by to pray!

This full-course fugu meal at Genpin Fugu was truly the ultimate culinary feast! The classic fugu sashimi was sliced translucent and as thin as a cicada's wing, with a pleasantly springy texture. Dipping it in the special ponzu sauce with chopped green onions and spicy grated daikon really brought out the flavor. The deep-fried and grilled fugu were even more impressive, with firm, juicy meat full of fresh, sweet ocean flavor.

Next came the paper hot pot, a treat for both the eyes and the palate. The fresh fugu and vegetables were cooked in the light, sweet broth, preserving all their delicious flavor. Finally, the staff used the remaining rich broth to prepare fugu zosui (rice porridge with egg) right at the table. The rice soaked up all the flavor, making every bite incredibly delicious. An elegant ice cream dessert brought the meal to a perfect close. This is definitely a premium experience you have to try in Japan!

Shinjuku's Kabukicho truly lives up to its reputation as the center of Tokyo nightlife, with a dazzling sea of colorful neon lights! Entering through the iconic red Kabukicho Ichibangai arch, the streets and alleys are filled with excitement and energy. Along the way, you'll see huge billboards for major anime and games, the landmark Don Quijote store, and the enormous Godzilla head looming atop Hotel Gracery Shinjuku. Its visual impact is striking.

In the water area, projected koi swim across the surface and turn into blooming flowers when they touch your body, creating a dreamy and romantic scene. The dazzling ceiling of crystal light droplets, giant colorful balloons with shifting light and shadows, and the Moss Garden's mirrored surfaces and metallic egg-shaped sculptures in the outdoor area make every corner visually stunning.

This place is great for taking photos, as the reflections of light and water can create really dramatic shots. A practical tip: some areas require you to wade through water about calf-deep, and there are mirrored floors, so wear pants that are easy to roll up and avoid skirts.
