Seeing it for the first time really made me freeze for a second.
I was just thinking, that cat looks way too real.

Kyoto Tower (Nidec The Kyoto Tower)
It is located right in front of Kyoto Station. It was designed in the shape of a lighthouse to illuminate Kyoto, and is the tallest building in Kyoto at 131 meters. It has been visited by over 32 million people since it opened in 1964.
When visiting Kyoto, people usually plan to see traditional sights like Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion, and rarely pay much attention to modern architecture. But seeing Kyoto Tower lit up at night gave me a different impression of Kyoto. The white tower stands out against the night sky, and together with the lights around the station, it creates an urban scene completely different from the ancient capital atmosphere during the day.

Nagoya Castle
One of the largest castles in Japan, built in the early Edo period on the orders of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo shogunate, the five-story castle tower is topped with shining two Kinshachi, one male and one female that has become a symbol of Nagoya.
Nagoya Castle is so grand and impressive—it's huge and definitely a landmark of the area.
