The kitty is super cute!
It’s one of Shinjuku’s major landmarks, and there were seriously so many people taking photos. I filmed a video instead, and this is a screenshot from it~
I was too hungry at the time, though, so right after filming I went to find something to eat haha

Every time I walk by, there’s a huge crowd stopping to take photos. Seeing everyone holding up their phones is pretty wild.
The advertising effect is honestly really successful.

Seeing it for the first time really made me freeze for a second.
I was just thinking, that cat looks way too real.

There's this cat that pops up on the big screen at the intersection heading toward Kabukicho from the East Exit of Shinjuku Station. It's a calico, which is a classic Japanese cat, and it's super cute! When I saw it, the cat was happily purring, but other times I've seen it playing around, knocking over cups and stuff for fun. Waiting at the crosswalk is way more enjoyable now.

This cat is basically a Shinjuku landmark. If you haven't seen it, you can't say you've really been here!

The video loop is timed just right, so you don't have to wait long to see the cat appear.

The screen is massive, and it looks even more high-tech at night. The cat really grabs your attention—the 3D effect is so realistic! Watching it walk around and meow is super lively.
