I have a lot to say about this. I had originally reserved the Aso Boy!, but because it was raining, the streetcar was moving very slowly and I missed it. I had a huge argument with my friend, and I even crouched down on the ground and cried.
I really don't like it when things don't go according to my plans, and that was my first time planning an itinerary by myself. I know plans can't keep up with changes, but when things really didn't go as planned, I felt like everything was ruined.
Maybe it was also because too much stress had built up... The plans for the previous few days had also changed, so I just broke down, haha.
But
my friend immediately reserved the Yufuin no Mori. I boarded the train completely unwillingly, though I had planned to stay in Yufuin for a day.
Fine, but I really wanted to go see Beppu, and I wanted to see the decorations on the Aso Boy! That dog must have been so cute...

Fine, my friend also treated me to ice cream, so I had no choice but to forgive him.

Actually, I took this photo at Costco. If you really like these, you can get them at Costco〜
I originally wanted to try them in Japan, and if I thought they were good, I could buy them when I got back, so I wouldn't have to carry them around
But when I went to Japan, all I bought was Jagabee

I haven't tried these yet because I just haven't felt like buying them, but everyone on the forum says they're good, so I'll definitely try them the next time I go to Japan〜
They seem like chocolate with a really cool shape〜
I saw that my friend bought these on a trip to Japan, and I even asked him if he could save a pack for me to try. But neither of us could find time to meet up, so his older sister ate them lol
Why does it feel like I've already lost touch with more than half of my friends when I only started working not long ago?
So sad?

Omiyage Kaido Kaikyo Plaza

This souvenir specialty store is located in the "Kaikyo Plaza" commercial complex in the nostalgic Mojiko Retro area. A wide variety of souvenirs from the Mojiko area are on display, including banana snacks unique to Mojiko, which is said to be the birthplace of Banana Auction, and products related to Mojiko's famous gourmet, yaki curry.

This is probably the part I regret missing the most?
I was thinking of looking around outside, but I ended up having no time to come back because I also wanted to go to Kokura, so I really only took a few photos.
But there’s a capsule toy shop inside with those things where you draw a key. You can find them everywhere, but this place has a lot of different kinds, like crystals, old coins, and some pretty cool decorations?
But I didn’t try any because they were a little expensive hahaha.
It’s a good place to duck into on a rainy day and browse around. It seems like it would be easy to buy lots of souvenirs there.
But it’s a little far from Fukuoka, so I just told myself it was fine that I didn’t buy anything.
Don’t you think that chef looks a little shady?
I thought it was pretty interesting.
