One thing you shouldn't miss in Sapporo is a “night parfait.” The place in the photo is Parfaiteria miL in Tanukikoji Shopping Street, and it's open until midnight, making it perfect for a parfait after shopping. The parfaits here aren't just delicious; they're also beautifully presented, and each one looks like a delicate work of art. When your order is served, it comes with a sheet explaining the ingredients in detail, so you can slowly figure out what's in each layer as you eat, which makes it even more fun.
Tanukikoji Shopping Street itself is great for browsing, with all kinds of drugstores, capsule toy shops, and souvenir stores along the way. You can find almost everything you want to buy here in one trip. If you're visiting Sapporo, I highly recommend setting aside a full day to explore Tanukikoji, stock up on cosmetics and souvenirs, and then enjoy a night parfait.

Bic Camera Ikebukuro Main Store
Bic Camera Ikebukuro Main Store is the flagship location of the nationwide electronics chain, Bic Camera. The store boasts one of the largest retail spaces in Tokyo, spanning from the basement first floor to the eighth floor above ground, and is easily visible from the East Exit of Ikebukuro Station, just a short walk along Meiji Street.
I bought this Panasonic hair dryer here. This Ikebukuro store is huge and has a wide selection, so it's pretty fun to browse. But since it's in a busy part of Tokyo, some really popular items still sell out.
