Every July is peak lavender season and also the busiest flower-viewing season in Furano. As soon as you enter Farm Tomita, you're greeted by vast fields of purple lavender and a light floral fragrance. The scenery is romantic and soothing.

Besides the lavender, another major highlight at Farm Tomita is Hokkaido melon. There are many melon-related foods in the park. The melon is sweet and juicy with delicate flesh, and having a bite of cold melon on a hot summer day really feels wonderful. There are also greenhouses, shops, and all kinds of desserts, so you can take a leisurely walk, take photos, and enjoy the food. If you also want to visit nearby attractions such as Biei and Furano, driving is the more convenient option.
