The Kyu-Shibuyagawa Yuho-Doro (Cat Street)
A promenade on a back street, one street off the main street, connects Shibuya and Harajuku. Part of the "Kyu-Shibuyagawa Yuho-Doro" starting near the Jingumae police box is known as "Cat Street," where many popular stores, especially among young people, are located. There are various theories about the origin of the street name, such as "because there are many cats" or "because it is as narrow as a cat's forehead” etc...
Harajuku’s Cat Street isn’t as polished as Omotesando. Instead, it has a younger, more laid-back street vibe. As you walk along, you’ll see unique little shops, trendy clothing, and all kinds of interesting storefronts, and you might find a new surprise around every corner. Rather than planning specific sights to visit, I prefer the feeling of strolling and browsing, like casually exploring everyday life in Tokyo.

Akihabara Electric Town
Large and small electronics shops cluster in this prominent shopping town in Japan. Nicknamed as Akiba, it is a popular spot not only domestically but also globally. Home appliances, PCs, smartphones, the latest digital devices, of course, but animations, games, figurines, model trains and other pop culture items are gathered here.
Akihabara at night feels like Tokyo’s “alternate-dimension” vibe turned all the way up. Neon signs, anime characters, and electronic billboards fill the streets, making it feel like you’ve wandered into a gaming city that never shuts down. It may simply feel bustling during the day, but at night its unique culture comes through even more, making it hard to resist browsing one store after another.

SHIBUYA SKY
An observation facility offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the Tokyo cityscape from a height of approximately 230 meters above the ground. Located on the 14th, 45th, 46th and rooftop of Shibuya Scramble Square, the tallest building in the Shibuya area, there are three zones: "SKY GATE," "SKY STAGE" and "SKY GALLERY.
At SHIBUYA SKY at night, it feels like you’re standing on the heart of Tokyo. Below are endless streams of headlights and crowds, while the city skyline sparkles in the distance. When the wind blows across the open-air observation deck, normally bustling Shibuya suddenly feels very quiet. Rather than simply viewing the night scenery, it feels more like watching a city continue to operate in the darkness.
