I passed by SUINA Muromachi in Kyoto while riding in a vehicle. Although I didn't get off to visit this time, the building's exterior looked very distinctive from the road!
The entire building has clean, modern lines, and it looks unexpectedly stylish alongside the surrounding Kyoto streetscape. I couldn't help taking a few extra looks as we passed by, and it felt like a nice little surprise I happened to discover during the trip.
Kyoto city KYOCERA Museum of Art
It started as Japan's second largest public art museum, Tairei Kinen Kyoto Art Museum, that commemorated then-emperor's enthronement, then the name was changed to Kyoto City Art Museum. In spring of 2020 after a renovation, it was reopened as Kyoto City Kyocera Art Museum.
建築本身就很有特色，外觀帶有濃濃的日式現代感。這次來到京都，特別安排到這裡走走，周圍環境很舒服，散步起來也很悠閒。
美術館裡面的展覽會依照不同時期更換，每次來都有不一樣的感受。除了欣賞藝術作品，也很喜歡館內簡約又有設計感的空間，隨手拍都很有氣氛。
Takashimaya Times Square
Takashimaya Times Square, a large commercial facility that opened in 1996, consists of a main building with a basement level and 14 above-ground floors. The main building centers around Shinjuku Takashimaya and houses Japan's largest Tokyu Hands, Uniqlo, and the electronics retailer Nojima.
I came to Takashimaya Times Square in Shinjuku at night. Quite a few people were gathered outside in the plaza, leisurely walking around and browsing, and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed.
The plaza at night didn't feel as rushed as it does during the day. Instead, it had a more leisurely feel, with many people chatting and taking walks while enjoying the lively atmosphere of Tokyo at night.
After exploring the streets of Shinjuku, it was nice to take a walk around here, look at the surrounding lights and passing crowds, and get a sense of everyday life in Tokyo at night.
Niseko Village Ski Resort
Surrounded by the majestic nature of Hokkaido, including Mount Yotei, known as "Ezo Fuji," and the Niseko mountain range, Niseko Village Ski Resort is a popular destination in Hokkaido. It's hailed as a "powder paradise," attracting skiers from all over Japan and the world with its exceptional snow quality.
Niseko in Hokkaido—the entire snowy landscape is so beautiful that you can't help taking photo after photo! Snow covers the mountaintops, and everywhere you look is a silvery-white world, full of that Hokkaido winter atmosphere.
Even without skiing, I really enjoyed the relaxed resort feel here. The surrounding snowy scenery is beautiful, and it feels like you're in a winter wonderland.
