On this trip to Okinawa, I made a point of buying a bag of the well-known Miyakojima Yukishio salt. Its texture is really fine, completely different from ordinary coarse-grained salt, and it even has an indescribable natural sweetness when you taste it.

My first strong impression of Yukishio was during my first trip to Okinawa, when I tried Yukishio ice cream at a shop on Kokusai Street. It was memorable from the first taste. So on this trip to Okinawa, of course I had to bring this iconic product back to Taiwan to help with my everyday cooking. Whether lightly dipping pan-fried fish in it or sprinkling it over freshly fried food to enhance the flavor, it goes perfectly with everything. Recommended for anyone who enjoys cooking.
