Kadekaru’s wonton ramen: The most beautiful ramen in all of Okinawa!

Kadekaru is known across Okinawa for their delicious wonton ramen. Naturally, I just had to try it. I put in my order for a bowl of Shio Wonton Ramen (880 yen) with extra noodles (for an additional 100 yen).

I don’t generally refer to ramen as being “beautiful,” but this ramen was an exception. The homemade noodles all bundled together with precision, and the cute, tadpole-like wontons floating in the soup made for a lovely presentation.

Sometimes less is more, and in this case it was true. The simplicity of the noodles and of the soup was what seemed to make them so tasty.

But what’s great about this shop is that, since the flavours used are not very overpowering, you can easily customize the taste to your preference. I tried the scorched onions first.

Aromatic and rich, they added tons of flavour. And a good sprinkling of pepper did too.

Stuffed to the brim with filling, the wontons were packed with flavour.

Man, was that satisfying.
