Zoo Nature

Inokashira Park Zoo occupies about 1/3rd of the area of Inokashira Park. It’s made up of the “Zoo (Main)” area, which features the animal exhibits, a sculpture museum, and archives, and the “Aquatic Park (Secondary)” area, which features aquatic animal exhibits and waterfowl.
The zoo is home to over 170 species of animals. Here you can see a variety of animals up close, including at the “Squirrel Trail” where Japanese squirrels run free.
Inokashira Park Zoo also helps contribute to the protection and propagation of the endangered Tsushima cat from Nagasaki Prefecture’s Tsushima, and this program is also open to the public.

Highlights

  • See Japanese squirrels running free in their natural habitats on the “Squirrel Trail”
  • The “Guinea Pig Petting Zoo,” where you can touch and play with guinea pigs, is popular
  • Enjoy rides like a merry-go-round at the zoo’s mini amusement park, “Sports Land”

    井之頭自然文化園與公園相連,此處相機隨手一拍,都是如畫般的美麗風景。
    園區分為二處,各有不同的動物。還有近距離接觸小動物的機會,不過要留意開放的時間。
