The Scandinavian interior shop CONNECT in Kagawa Prefecture manages this café under the concept of “being as a receptionist between the islanders and the outsiders.”
The glass-walled interior offers an excellent view of the Seto Inland Sea and the Great Seto Bridge creating an extraordinary travel experience opportunity. The chic furniture in charcoal black is inspired by the burnt cedar trees used for many houses on the Honjima island. The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant makes a wonderful dining experience.
Don’t miss a chance to taste the “Weekly Fish Set”, a purveyors special featuring homegrown, organic vegetables from nearby farmers and fresh, seasonal fish sourced directly by local fishermen. Take a ferry to Honjima in the morning and enjoy a relaxing time with food and wine at the cafe until the afternoon return boat. If you make a reservation, you can also enjoy a full course meal or a barbecue grill with a sunset sea view.
Other café menus including Basque cheesecake and seasonal sodas make it a suitable place to stop by for a break from strolling around the island, or a short waiting time for boats.
They welcome guests arriving with their own boat or jet skis who can dock right in front of the restaurant.
