The Hirugano Plateau is located at an altitude of 1,000 meters at the foot of Mount Dainichigatake in Okumino, Gifu Prefecture. Bokka no Sato is a relaxing theme park with flowers and animals.
The vast fields are filled with tulips and lavender, and the scenery changes with the seasons. You can also enjoy interacting with animals such as sheep, alpacas and rabbits, milking a Jersey cow "Anko-chan", and mini horse riding lessons.
Making bread and pizza, pressed flowers and other crafts are also popular. Vegetable picking is also offered on an irregular basis.
There are also a variety of restaurants and cafes where you can taste fresh local ingredients from Mino and Hida, so be sure to stop by.
