Sightseeing in Odate-shi interchange facilities opened in 2019 near JR Odate Station. The building is modeled after the Taisho era Shibuya station building, named after Japan's most famous Akita Inu dog, "Chuken Hachiko" (loyal dog Hachi).
The facility includes an Akita Inu Museum where visitors can enjoy learning about the characteristics and history of Akita Inu. There is an Akita Inu exhibition room where visitors can see Akita Inu and a store with various Akita Inu goods.

In the "favorite Akita Inu section," many photos and episodes of Akita dogs submitted by the public are introduced.
The Akita Dog Tower, made of 160 stuffed animals modeled after the Akita dog "Masaru" that was presented to Russian figure skater Zagitova, is also a must-see. From the terrace on the second floor of the building, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the town of Odate.

Akita Inu no Sato was built on the site of the Kosaka Railway, which once carried ore from the Kosaka Mine and passengers. The rails from those days still remain, and visitors can enjoy the railroad experience on a hand-operated trolley.
