"Sarutahiko Coffee" is a specialty coffee shop that opened in Ebisu, Tokyo in June 2011 under the concept of "a coffee shop that makes you happy with just one cup". Representative Tomoyuki Otsuka and his staff personally procure carefully selected beans through direct trade, and serve them with care and pride from roasting to brewing. The store is well-known for its many fans, with stores mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Such "Sarutahiko Coffee" opened its first store in Nara in April 2021. The store is located on the first floor of the Shika-Saru-Kitsune Building, a popular complex by Nara's long-established crafts dealer "Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten", and is attracting coffee fans in the Kansai region.

In addition to its quintessential, high-quality specialty coffee, it also offers "Tiki Taka ice cream", a brand of ice cream from Sarutahiko Coffee, and original curry. The shop is popular as a place for healing and communication among a wide range of people passing through the town of Nara, from locals to tourists.
