A soba shop adored by the locals for 65 years. Using high quality buckwheat from Etanbetsucho in Hokkaido, their speciality is the Nihachi soba handmade with 80% Buckwheat and 20% wheat flour. Soba noodles are made every morning which is popular for its thin, yet chewy, and refreshing texture.

The most popular dish on the menu is “Tenzaru” (1,550 yen) with freshly fried tempura over cold soba on a basket (zaru). The tempuras are fried to order with a tempura pot. It has a crunchy texture. Dip your soba into a special sauce made of the finest bonito flakes; the perfect combination.

From opening to 14pm is lunch time. Visitors can enjoy “A Lunch” with a small-portion of hot soba or udon, vegetable tempura, cold tofu and rice; or “B Lunch”(990 yen each) with Beef-stock tofu, radish salad, and rice.

Other than soba, udon and rice bowls, visitors can enjoy “Tempura Platter” (1,120 yen), “Saba with Miso” (450 yen), “Boiled Beef Offal” (560 yen), and other bite-sized meals.
