This tourist information center is close to Okunitama-jinja Shrine. A staff member is always there who is knowledgeable about tourist sites in Fuchu City to answer questions. The service is only in Japanese but sightseeing maps in English are there. Stop by before you explore Fuchu.
At the center, sightseeing maps, pamphlets, flyers about the city’s tourism are available, as well as a mini display about Fuchu’s seasonal events. Fuchu Tourist Information Center has a mascot, Kotomi-chan. Her goods, T-shirts of Okunitama-jinja Shrine’s “Kurayami Festival,” towels with Fuchu folk song printed, postcards, etc. are also sold there.
Fuchu’s volunteers has an association which conducts guided tours regularly, which information is available at the center.
