Japanese tea specialty store "Takacha“

Taking advantage of the mild climate unique to southern Japan, Kagoshima Prefecture grows a wide range of tea varieties and boasts the largest share of tea production in Japan.
This store, located along the city's main road, commercializes its original blend of tea leaves and promotes the charm of Kagoshima-grown tea to people of all ages.

The store sells several variations of Sencha alone, the most popular green tea in Japan.
The lineup includes "Sencha [ZEN]," which has a distinctly refreshing aroma, "Sencha [SAN]," which has a good harmony of flavor and bitterness, and precious "Sencha [KOU]," which is made from a single plantation and a single variety of tea leaves.
Also popular are Sencha blended with lemongrass for a refreshing taste, Sencha with matcha for an elegant and mellow taste, and powdered Sencha that allows the nutrients in the tea leaves to be absorbed as is.

In addition to hot and cold teas, the café space also offers original menu items such as "Peach and Matcha Tonic" and "Japanese Tea Float," which can only be enjoyed here.
