Shodoshima somen has a history of more than 400 years and is known as a specialty of Shodoshima. The store specializes in hand-pulled somen noodles made by hand, taking over the traditional method and adding a modern essence to it.

The signature product is "Nama Somen" (fresh somen noodles), which is so elastic that it is hard to resist the temptation to describe it as "crunchy", and is made with a unique twist. Olive fresh somen noodles made with the juice of 100% Shodoshima olives grown on the company's own farm and extra virgin olive oil are also popular. At the restaurant adjacent to the factory, you can enjoy freshly made noodles made with the utmost care.

Visitors can experience the art of making hand-pulled somen by "chopstick-splitting" and take a factory tour to learn about the actual production process. Visitors can experience the charm of Shodoshima somen through all five senses by "observing, experiencing, and eating. In addition to fresh somen and sun-dried somen, hand-pulled udon noodles are also sold at the factory. Original products using olives grown in the company's own farm are also available.
