Located on the Chinen Peninsula in southern Okinawa Main Island, this bridge is Approx. 660 meters long and Approx. 80 meters high. It consists of two consecutive bridges, Nirai Bridge and Kanai Bridge, which together are called Nirai Kanai Bridge. In the Okinawan dialect, "Nirai Kanai" means an ideal land beyond the sea.

From this large U-shaped bridge set on elevated ground, you can take in a breathtaking view so beautiful it hardly seems real, perfectly matching its name. If you're driving, it's best to approach from the Tsukishiro side. Once you pass through the tunnel midway across the bridge, the view suddenly opens up into a sweeping panorama.

The area is also dotted with sightseeing spots such as Sefa Utaki and Chinen Misaki Park, making this a place you'll definitely want to stop by when visiting Okinawa.
