Senaga Island with a 1.8km circumference is connected to Naha Airport with a marine road. This is where a multi resort facility stands. White buildings line the slope facing the emerald green ocean. It looks like a little town. The beauty was designed after the European resorts such as the Amalfi Coast in Italy and Santorini Island on the Aegean Sea.
There are many eateries serving Okinawa gourmet food such as Okinawa soba noodles and taco rice, as well as Tokyo’s popular stores and take-out food. Accessory shops with rings and pearls, relaxation salons overlooking the sea, nearly 45 shops are available.
It is a popular dating spot to watch the gorgeous sunset over the Kerama Islands and the night view of the airport. Senaga Island is the closest to Naha among the remote islands, and about 15 minutes from Naha Airport by car or bus. You can stop by in a short free time right after you arrive at Okinawa or before your flight.
