Located in Hoshigaoka Terrace, Hoshigaoka Seimenjo Hoshigaoka Branch is a kishimen specialty restaurant opened through a collaboration between two of Nagoya’s leading restaurants, Udonya Tamon and Teuchi Udon Takasago. It serves kishimen in a style where you choose your preferred noodle portion, broth, and toppings when ordering.

The house-made kishimen, made with Aichi-grown Kinuakari wheat, is known for its pleasantly chewy texture. The signature menu items are Tamon and Takasago, named after the two partner restaurants. Tamon offers a refreshing flavor accented by sudachi citrus. Takasago is topped with fried tofu and wakame seaweed for a distinctly Aichi-style bowl. The menu also includes miso oden, Nagoya specialty side dishes, and local sake from Aichi Prefecture.

The interior is inspired by noodle factories with diner-style eateries once found in old public markets. Through the glass, you can watch the noodle-making and cooking process. Frozen craft noodles and original goods are also sold at the front of the shop.
