Thermae-yu Shinjuku
An urban spa resort in the heart of Shinjuku where you can fully enjoy natural hot springs.
Located in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district, Thermae-yu Shinjuku is one of the largest natural hot spring spa resorts in central Tokyo. The facility uses luxurious natural hot spring water from Naka-Izu, drawn from 1,500 meters underground, and offers a wide range of saunas, spa treatments, and esthetic services-letting you enjoy an authentic hot-spring retreat without leaving the city.
A highlight of the facility is its extensive selection of baths, centered around “Jindai no Yu,” natural hot spring water transported directly from Naka-Izu. Options include a women-only Scandinavian Coral Light Lotion Bath, Japan’s first Neutral Electrolyzed Water Bath (α Torino Water), a High-Concentration Carbonated Bath with 1100 ppm CO₂, and the silky-smooth Silk Bath. Sauna rooms, stone spa rooms, esthetics, and various spa treatments provide plenty of ways to relax your body and mind. The dining area serves authentic Japanese cuisine, as well as smoothies made with fresh fruits and vegetables.
The facility also features a reclining lounge, a dedicated women’s area, and a rooftop sports bar and fitness space. Towels and loungewear are provided, so you can visit empty-handed. Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it’s easy to drop by between sightseeing or shopping.
