Run by Inata Honten, a long-established sake brewery founded in 1673, this izakaya offers fine food and drinks in a relaxing space created from a renovated traditional house over 100 years old, quietly tucked away in a back alley off the downtown area.

Dinner courses offer plenty of variety, including kaiseki featuring Tottori wagyu beef and local fish, a prix fixe course with your choice of main dish and closing dish, and a Monday-Thursday limited plan packed with sake-friendly small plates. In winter (typically from around mid-November to around late March), a full-course meal showcasing the appeal of Matsuba crab, the king of winter flavors, also appears. Traditional local dishes from Tottori Prefecture are also served, so be sure to order simple yet delicate specialties such as ita wakame, akaten, and rakkyo.

For drinks, the restaurant stocks a wide selection of sake chosen by a kikizakeshi, or sake sommelier. The lineup, unique to an izakaya directly operated by a brewery, ranges from clean and crisp daiginjo to unpasteurized undiluted sake with bold flavor, and even super-fresh honjozo with a lightly sparkling character.
