I’d been wanting to try strawberry daifuku ever since coming to Tokyo, and I finally had one in Shibuya.

Benzaiten’s strawberry daifuku has a thin outer layer and is filled with a whole fresh strawberry. It’s incredibly juicy when you bite into it!! Every piece displayed in the glass case looks so delicate, and just seeing the huge, juicy strawberry inside after cutting it open is soothing, let alone eating it.

Pick one up as a snack while exploring Shibuya. It’s delicate and delicious, and makes a lovely little surprise during your trip.

The third floor of KIDDY LAND Harajuku is truly paradise for Pokémon fans. As soon as you go upstairs, you're greeted by a huge selection of Pokémon merchandise, including plush toys, stationery, and household items featuring all kinds of characters. Just walking around once is enough to make your head spin. Every section has something that makes you stop and look. I originally just wanted to browse, but whenever I saw something I liked, I couldn't resist picking it up for a closer look.

Enjoying yakiniku by the window, you get an unobstructed view of the Shinjuku cityscape. The city and its high-rises stretch into the distance, and with the blue sky, the view feels especially open. Great food and great scenery all at once!

The observation deck at the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center is a great place to enjoy views of the Asakusa cityscape! From above, you can clearly see Kaminarimon, Nakamise Street, and the crowds coming and going, with Tokyo Skytree visible in the distance. The usually bustling streets feel different when seen from this angle. Asakusa is full of energy during the day, and the mix of traditional streetscapes and modern buildings creates one of Tokyo's most distinctive views. If you're tired from walking, come up and take a look. You can also capture a beautiful photo of Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree together.

Fukuya Dazaifu Store in Dazaifu offers a variety of mentaiko-related souvenirs, and the mentaiko potato chips are great to take home as a snack. The chips are crispy, with the savory saltiness and mild heat of mentaiko. The more you eat, the more you want, and they go perfectly with a drink! The packaging also has a distinctive Fukuoka feel, making them a convenient souvenir.

When you're in Shinjuku, Tokyo, be sure to experience the nighttime atmosphere of Kabukicho. At night, the neon lights and signs lining the streets all light up, and the whole neighborhood becomes very lively.

The colorful lights reflect on the streets, and together with the crowds coming and going, they reveal a completely different side of Tokyo from the daytime. Even a few casual photos really capture the feeling of Tokyo at night!

While shopping at Ginza Mitsukoshi, I unexpectedly came across a very cute eyewear store. The glasses had distinctive designs, and the displays were also very refined. Just looking at all the different styles was interesting.

Each frame had its own style—some were simple, while others were playful and cute. I couldn't help trying them on one after another.

The park is lush and green, and walking along the moat is very pleasant. Each season offers different scenery. Especially in spring, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, all of Goryokaku is surrounded by a sea of pink flowers. The star-shaped fort and cherry blossoms together are truly beautiful!

Visiting Goryokaku Park this time felt very special. Besides enjoying the beautiful scenery, I could also feel the historical atmosphere of Hakodate. If I come back to Hokkaido, I hope I can catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom and take photos of a different side of Goryokaku!

When in Kyoto, you definitely have to check out Shinkyogoku Shopping Street. It has a strong Kyoto shopping atmosphere, with plenty of clothing stores, drugstores, souvenir shops, and restaurants along the way, so you can take your time browsing and hunting for finds.

The shopping street is covered, so you don’t have to worry too much even if it rains, making it very convenient to explore. There are also quite a few small shops with a distinctive Kyoto feel along the way, and it’s easy to find souvenirs or something to eat.

Wakame furikake is perfect with rice! Just sprinkle it over steaming white rice, and the aroma of the wakame comes out right away. Mix it in, and the rice becomes very flavorful.

It has a pleasantly salty, savory taste, with a light ocean flavor from the wakame and the aroma of the furikake. It tastes great with plain white rice and doesn’t need much additional seasoning. When you’re busy, just sprinkle some on to make a bowl of white rice more flavorful!
