Shirahige Falls
One of the iconic attractions of the Biei Shirogane Onsen area, Shirahige Falls lives up to its name as white streams cascade down a rugged cliff like a "white beard”, dropping approximately 30 meters into the Biei River. This waterfall is classified as a rare "subterranean stream waterfall" (senryu-baku), where water flows directly from cracks in the rock face.
The water at Shirahige Falls pours down along the rock wall, looking graceful like a white beard. Paired with the deep blue stream, the scenery is truly charming.
It has a different beauty in every season and is a natural spot in Biei that’s well worth visiting. -

Sensoji Temple
This iconic destination in Asakusa sees as many as 30 million visitors each year. It stands as a well-loved mainstay in Tokyo, all while hosting a number of annual traditions like the first temple visit at New Years, Setsubun and more across the year.
Sensoji Temple has a rich historical and cultural atmosphere. Kaminarimon Gate and Nakamise Shopping Street are lively and full of character. Besides visiting the temple, you can enjoy local food and shop for souvenirs. It’s a must-visit spot in Tokyo.

Shinkyo Bridge
The World Heritage site "Shrines and Temples of Nikko" in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, consists of the Futarasan Shrine, Toshogu Shrine, Rinno-ji Temple, and the surrounding archaeological sites. The Shinkyo Bridge, also known as "Yamasuge's Snake Bridge" or "Sacred Bridge", spans the entrance and is one of the cultural properties that constitute the World Heritage site. It is also designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
Nikko’s Shinkyo Bridge has an elegant, beautiful vermilion design that looks stunning against the stream and surrounding forest. It’s full of history and culture.
Strolling around the area and taking in the scenery feels peaceful and relaxing. Definitely worth a visit. -
