ecute Ueno
Directly connected to JR Ueno Station! With more than 60 shops offering gourmet food and goods that are uniquely Japanese, this in-station shopping facility is comfortable to use even on rainy days.
Located inside the ticket gates at JR Ueno Station, ecute Ueno is a convenient shopping facility with more than 60 permanent shops ranging from food to fashion and miscellaneous goods. Because Ueno Station is a terminal station served by many lines, it is also ideal when you need to adjust your sightseeing plans on a rainy day or want to stop by in between journeys.
Inside are shops such as T's TANTAN, a tantanmen shop where vegetarians and vegans can dine with confidence, B-SIDE LABEL, a sticker specialty shop with distinctly Japanese pop designs, and coffee shops where you can casually enjoy authentic flavors.
The bakery zone, newly added in November 2025, also includes an eat-in space, so you can enjoy the bread you buy on the spot while taking a short break between sightseeing stops. Limited sweets and miscellaneous goods with panda motifs are also highly popular as souvenirs and keepsakes from a trip to Ueno.
