The Pokémon Center at AEON Mall Okinawa Rycom is seriously wild! As soon as I reached the entrance and saw the huge statue of Pikachu riding Arcanine, I couldn't help taking a ton of photos. There is an insane amount of merchandise inside, and the exclusive items can easily make you lose control and grab everything. The whole store has such an energetic atmosphere. Adults and kids alike basically go in smiling and come out smiling—with empty wallets. If you're a Pokémon fan, you really have to go!

Naha Kokusai-dori Shopping Street
Naha City Kokusai-dori Shopping Street is located in the center of Naha City and is the main street representing Okinawa. It is the largest downtown area in Naha City and is famous as the center of commerce and entertainment. It is known as "Kokusai-dori (International street)," based on the concept of "a people-friendly town and a town that is fun to walk through.
Kokusai-dori is seriously so much fun to explore! The entire street is packed with souvenir shops, yakiniku restaurants, and awamori, and the atmosphere is especially lively at night. I strongly recommend checking out the Yatai Mura in one of the side streets. Just pick any place serving grilled skewers or Okinawa soba, pair it with an ice-cold beer, and enjoy the super chill local nightlife. You can also get all your drugstore items and souvenirs in one place, so it's perfect for a big shopping trip on the last day of your itinerary!

Kaichu Road (Okinawa)
Connecting the Katsuren Peninsula on Okinawa’s main island to Henza Island, Kaichu Road is a roughly 5-kilometer toll-free roadway that offers one of the most exhilarating drives in Okinawa. Despite its name, which means “undersea road,” the route is actually built atop a causeway through shallow coastal waters. With stunning views of the cobalt-blue sea stretching out on either side, the drive is a refreshing and unforgettable experience. From Henza Island, bridges extend further to other nearby islands such as Miyagi Island, Hamahiga Island, and Ikei Island-making it a popular scenic driving route.
DMM Aquarium was honestly quite a surprise! Although it’s not big, the atmosphere is really well done. The coolest part is standing on the transparent glass and watching stingrays swim right under your feet—it’s super eye-catching. You can also see penguins and sloths up close, and it’s great for photos and interaction. Plus, it’s very close to the airport and inside a shopping mall, so it’s perfect as a backup plan for your first or last day!
