We would like to introduce you some spots in Kawasaki area mainly FUJIKO• F• FUJIO Museum, in which you can experience Cool Japan. It takes approx. 50 minutes from Haneda Airport to Noborito Station, a station accessible to the area. A direct bus service is available from the station, which takes about nine minutes to get the museum.

Tickets can only be purchased at Lawson convenience stores, located nationwide.Date- and time-designated admission tickets must be reserved in advance. Tickets are not sold at the museum counter. To enter the museum, purchase your ticket at a Lawson convenience store, located nationwide, using the in-store terminal Loppi.

When you’ve finished looking through the FUJIKO•F• FUJIO Museum, you may want to head outdoors and surround yourself in nature. The Ikuta Ryokuchi Park is a beautiful place to do just that. It is also home to a variety of facilities, such as the Japan Open-Air Folk Museum and the Kawasaki Municipal Science Museum!

Ikuta Ryokuchi Park

The park, the largest park in Kawasaki City, is like a nature-filled treasure box as it is surrounded with a lot of nature. In the large park, there are many attractions such as beautiful nature in different seasons, traditional style dwellings, art and science museums, etc.

Japan Open-Air Folk House Museum
An outdoor museum exhibiting 25 old Japanese houses, etc. brought in mainly from east Japan. Many events are also held here. You’ll feel like you’ve slipped back in time to the Edo period.

Kawasaki Municipal Science Museum
Visit the planetarium and experience a realistic star-filled sky to the world’s highest standards.

Taro Okamoto Museum of Art, Kawasaki
On display are works of art by Kawasaki-born artist, Taro Okamoto. You can actually sit on some pieces, such as the Hand Shaped Chair.
