Hakone Gora Hot Spring: Toki no Yu Setsugetsuka

This authentic, Japanese aesthetic hot springs inn is located a conveniently short 1 min. walk from Gora Station. The lobby has a wide-open layout with complete with a full-on Noh theatre stage at its center.

Inside you’ll find 158 guest rooms, each with a private open-air cypress bath just waiting for you to melt your heart away. The entire facility is home to two different hot spring sources, giving way to ever-flowing waters at the large hot spring baths and 3 reservation-only open air baths, all available for you to try completely free.

Many guests love the large array of women’s yukata to choose from. In addition to the many colors you can even get extra help trying them on for free.

For dinner, choose from 2 luxe options at Kacho (flowers & birds) or Fugetsu (beauty of nature) halls. At Kacho you’ll find a Japanese kaiseki-style feast, with regional treats from land and sea, including plenty of fresh fish. At Fugetsu you’ll find the chef’s choice of seasonal specialities, including sushi, domestic beef shabu shabu hot pots and more.

While here you’ll love the chance to stroll across the sprawling grounds. Depending on the season, you may even find special events held in the lobby. There’s even free ramen at night (late night soba) to try. If you tend to get a bit puckish at night, make sure to swing by for a bowl (quantities limited).
