This is the main shop of a long-established coffee cafe since 1940. The machiya-style townhouse with classical lighting and chairs provides a restful space for their specialty coffees and light meals. Their signature blend coffee "Arabian Pearl", served since the cafe’s establishment, is a deep-roasted mocha-based blend with a good balance of aroma, richness, and acidity. Inoda Coffee usually serves hot coffee with fresh milk and sugar (black is also available). You can purchase your favorite beans in the store.
Open from 7 AM, Inoda Coffee is a good place to eat before sightseeing in Kyoto. The popular "Kyoto Breakfast" is a big breakfast plate which comes with scrambled eggs, boneless ham, salad, croissant, etc.
Inoda coffee stores offer a limited menu in each location. The main store offers the "Wiener Set" , which features sausages made in the traditional German way, and the "Meatloaf Set", which blends together the taste of meat with an original demi-glace sauce. In addition, the restaurant offers a wide variety of light meals and dessert menus, including sandwiches, pasta, and cakes.
