Atami Onsen Sakuraya Ryokan

Atami Onsen Sakuraya Ryokan is a classical Japanese ryokan founded 70 years ago. They proudly serve excellent meals cooked with the selected produce from Atami, while their baths are directly filled with pure hot spring water. The theme of the cuisine is "to please the five senses.”The skilled chefs delicately cook seasonal natural ingredients from Atami and other parts of Japan to make exquisite seafood dishes, simmered delights, desserts, and many other meal selections. All will be delivered to the guestroom in a timely manner. The menu changes every month and is incorporated with seasonal flavors.

Both dinner and breakfast are served in the room. However, the special dining room may be arranged for guests who booked multiple rooms or stay with more than 6 persons in one room. Children's meals are also available, and elementary school-aged children are served less dishes but based on the adult's menu. A special meal for smaller children is also available. The guestrooms are built according to two themes. The "Shihokaku" rooms, with its "lacquer" theme, are made of zelkova wood and offer different styles; there is one special room with a private open-air bath and two two-story studio type rooms. Only the "Kanazawa" room, one of the two-story rooms, has a sea view among these Shihokaku rooms. The other themed rooms,“Touzankaku" face the ocean and offer a view of Hatsushima Island from rooms on the upper floors. There are special rooms with double bed and a table and sofa, as well as one’s in the standard style. In addition, all guestroom bathrooms use hot spring water.

The ryokan accommodates two large public bath spaces, "Kaisei no Yu" and "Tensei no Yu," both of which have slightly alkaline chloride spring water with a temperature over 60°C. There are indoor and open-air baths, a sleeping bath, a sauna, and a cold water bath.
