A place to share the brilliance of art and design.

Last update :

The art museum blends into the sublime scenery of the Fuganunga-Kansui Park against the backdrop of Mt. Tate. It curates domestic and international artists spanning from the early 20th century to this day, such as Picasso, Miro, Chagall and Tsuguharu Fujita.

A design display room is also available which curates posters and chair collections. The touch panel to show a poster collection, an art workshop where creators are at work, and other programs such as special exhibitions help you feel close to art and design.

In the hall, a restaurant, cafe and shop are available as well as a library and a kids room with some 350 illustrated books. Families with children love the roof-top garden, Onomatopoeia Rooftop. Onomatopoeia means words which describe sounds and conditions, such as “Bow-wow” or “zig-zag.” The designer Taku Sato created unique and fun play structures based on Onomatopoeia.

Highlights

  • Free rental of wheelchairs and strollers available.
  • Audio guide with a QR code available.
  • Outside the curation rooms, places such as Onomatopoeia Rooftop are free.

    頂樓跟免費開放空間有適合小朋友有趣味的設施,這一點很具有吸引力。
