This Japanese restaurant stands in a scenic location overlooking Kansui Park in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. La BOMBANCE, the acclaimed creative Japanese restaurant in Tokyo featured in the Michelin Guide, reopened here with a fresh new look in January 2026. Chef Ota, who has served as head chef since the beginning, continues to lead the kitchen.

The restaurant serves dishes centered on fresh seafood caught in Toyama Bay, making the most of Hokuriku’s rich ingredients. Its menu is defined by a focus on local production for local consumption and a strong sense of seasonality. The course meal is served in small portions across many dishes, flowing gently from the appetizer to the meal and dessert. Another highlight is being able to enjoy Toyama’s bounty while looking out over Kansui Park through the glass windows.
