This train station is wonderfully-located with a grand view over Iyo-nada Sea. It was used for a number of movies, TV dramas and JR’s posters. During the day, the sunlight is reflected on the dazzling ocean. You will never forget the sunset turning the Sea into bright orange.
The tourist train, Iyonada Monogatari, stops at this station for a while for a picture-taking. You can look over the pleasing ocean from the car, while tasting a dish made of Ehime’s local ingredients. Reserve a ticket and enjoy a ride!

On every 1st Saturday of September, this platform holds the Sunset Platform Concert against the sinking sun into the Iyo-nada Sea. This popular event had the 35th in 2020. (Check the event schedule).
