"Kema Sakuranomiya Park", located on both banks of the Okawa River that flows through the center of Osaka City, is a riverside park with a total length of 4.2 km developed in the area from the Kema Araizeki (overflow weir) at the junction with the Yodo River to Tenmabashi Bridge downstream.

The right bank is lined with historical buildings such as the "Mint", "Senpukan", and the "Kyu-sakuranomiya Kokaido Hall" while the left bank is home to the "Fujita-tei Garden Park", a garden designated as a place of scenic beauty by Osaka City, and the Osaka Fureai no Mizube, a popular picnic spot where the former lumberyard on the left bank of Genpachi Bridge has been reused. The park is popular as a strolling and jogging course.
It is also famous as one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in the city, especially around the area from Tenmabashi Bridge to Sakuranomiya Bridge, where a row of approximately 4,800 cherry trees are in full bloom. From midday until late at night, the area is crowded with many cherry blossom-viewing visitors every year.

In front of "Osaka Amenity Park," there is not only a stop for the "Osaka Water Bus," but also a circular course for the open-deck cruise ship "Ofune Camome". The view of the city and cherry blossoms in full bloom from the water is also exceptional.
